Intake Lane

This project involved renovating a 1970’s detached, upside-down house for a client wanting to upgrade the property’s kerb-appeal. The two-storey extension on one side will see the garage removed with a new bedroom suite in its place. What was a bedroom in the original property will become a utility room. And, a new spectacular bathroom will extend the master bedroom on the floor below.

On the other side of the house a single-storey extension has increased the size of the kitchen. Also, a loft conversion now allows the client to work from home. The property now makes the most of the fantastic Derwent Valley views from the back of the house.

Externally, timber and black cladding sit side-by-side to give the building an exciting aesthetic.
